Tom Kelly - Coral Springs, Florida
It all started with the fall out of the 1967 dune buggie that was crazy fast. The engine blew for the third time and that was it, enough. I sold it and I started my hunt for another VW. After thinking that I would never find my dream car, a single cab, I started looking at bugs on the samba. Found a few but nothing great. While on the phone with my girlfriend, I was still looking for a bug and she was looking at the pre 67's. She found a guy in Kissimiee that had a 58' single cab that was in decent shape and for the good price. It was to late at night to call the guy and I thought it had to have been sold already. So I emailed him and called him the next day. He still had it! We went up that night and got it! I finally have my dream car! With a new engine, tranny, and it now slammed, it's almost perfect, safaris are next on the list. |

Cristin Yearton's 62 Pink Beetle "Drip" |

Picked up from BugJam '04, this 1962 Beetle is Cristin's first aircooled VW. Since she purchased it in November of 2004, she has lowered it, added a new exhaust, glass, door panels and a Sony Stereo. Also during that time the beetle was involved in an accident, but has since been revived by Robert Simon of Robert's Quality Auto Body. Drip (self-proclaimed name) now enjoys long drives on the Beach and VW Shows. Cristin's future plans for Drip are: Adding a Narrowed Beam, dropped Spindles, New interior, and eventually repainting the entire car (Same color of course), maybe a 1776 in the future as well, and of course driving the car everywhere.

Tom owned a 73 standard beetle for a long time but he decided that a camper would suite his oldest son Coleman (age 7) love for camping. He spotted this 1971 Camper at the 2005 Vee-Dub Fest in Fort Myers and a few months later, sold his beetle and purchased the Bus. |

Chris' Corrado |

Chris Feldhaus - Bitburg, Germany
1990 G60 Corrado - This is Chris' first VW. A friend had a Corrado and he fell in love. So he purchased this Corrado in July of 2001 in Valdosta, GA for $1,500 with a blown charger. At the time it was the only other Corrado in town. Two years ago he brought the Corrado with him to Germany, since he's been in Germany he has had a blown the charger (autobahn) so he now has a Lysholm charger. Chris has also added some coilovers and swaybars among some other things to enjoy driving the German roads. Most recently, the Keskin wheels were mounted up along with the fenders being rolled. Coming soon, hopefully some more laps at Nurburgring, new exhaust, maybe a 16v motor build up, a new coat of paint. |

This 1984 GTI was purchased in Clearwater. Mike towed it home and it took a while for the aircooled guy to get the watercooled running. It ran pretty good for a while and then he swapped a G60 motor into it. |

Mike's 1967 21 Window, Sold To Ash in London |
| |
Mike Childress - Fort Myers, Florida
Mike purchased this 1967 21 window deluxe bus in Tennessee in 2001. When the bus was purchased, it was a project that was pretty rust free. Kelly Brown at www.metwiz.com had finished the metal work that needed to be done. When Mike got the bus back to Georgia the project began. He decided to go with a custom paint scheme a new beetle color called vapor blue and a bright white. Mike went through the drivetrain and brakes, a new Mexican 1600 motor, new interior, new suspension, and even a set BRM wheels. This was a great bus and Mike drove this bus all over the Southeast from the Miami Volksblast show to Circle your Wagens in Tennessee. The bus was sold to Ash and was shipped over to London. Ash keeps in touch and sends us pictures of our beloved 21 window in shows he has entered and even a newspaper clipping he was in. |
