As found in early September of 2003. The picture features a radiator and in the rear, a Ford V6 engine. The previous owner offered to sell Matt the M body kit as well to complete the original project.

The convertible was placed on rolling chassis as of November of 2003. You can see the major rust, rot and how the front and rear bibs were cut off by the previous owner.

The front and rear bibs were located from a 1965 Sedan that was purchased for $100 back in January of 2004. The donor car also provided fenders, a new firewall/tray, and a hood.

After the body was completed, the engine needed to go in. Matt's 40 horses of fury was ready to rip up the streets of Naples.

After Matt had saved up enough money, paint colors were chosen; Reflex Silver for the exterior and a Gunmetal Blue interior were the original choices. Some time went by as I waited for my interior [3 1/2 months to be exact] and when it did arrive, they sent out the wrong color. So the car went to a total opposite, Blitz Black from John Deere.

After many of nights thinking on wheels to use, Matt decided to run a set of Austin Healy 3000 true knock-off spoke rims.
