Foreign Policy started in Valdosta, Georgia, in 2001, founded by Mike Childress. A few years later, it made its way to Fort Myers, Florida—mostly thanks to a lifelong Volkswagen girl named Tanya.
Somewhere along the way, two car people became four. Volkswagens were bought, sold, modified, and enjoyed, with a few cool American cars finding their way into the mix along the way.
After a business hiatus and a few unexpected detours in life, we decided it was time to fire FPVW back up and get back to doing what we love: making cool things for people who love cool cars.
We're starting with two things we've always been passionate about: cool cars and cool apparel.
But we're not interested in filling a warehouse with the same shirt in 47 sizes and colors. Instead, FPVW works in limited Production Runs. We release a design, you order what you want, the run closes, and then we print it ourselves, in-house, using our own equipment.
Some designs might come back. Some might never return.
That's part of the fun.
Volkswagens brought us together. Life took us on a detour.
Now FPVW is back.
